Virginia’s 100th Post!!!
This is amazing!!! This is quite a milestone for me, I have to say. I’m going to dedicate this very special post to everyone who has been a part of my happiness and success with this blog.
I started this blog one summer day because I was bored. I never would have thought this blog would have been this fun. And I never would have thought that I would meet such wonderful people. I’d like to say thanks to all the awesome people I’ve met here who have read and commented on my blog: Lisa, Jane, Cat, Jamie, Beth, A.J., Jess, Matt W., Ginny, Emma, Peter, Bob, Jenn, Kaybee, Hyunyoung, Matthew T., Buz, Matt P., EJ, Leah, Babu, Ted, Elizabeth, Melissa, and everyone else whose names I do not know, thanks for reading!
Everybody who I have met on MLBlogs is amazing. How many places can you say that about, where you like everyone?
I wish Lisa was my sister. Imagine all the Nick Swisher jokes we would come up with! Cat is honestly THE MOST generous and kind woman out there. Thanks for everything, Cat! And Jamie, well, we are good friends now :) He’s awesome.
My friends back here in Cold Spring deserve some “thank yous!” They have all been very supportive.
Thank you to all my friends and their families for visiting my blog! I’d like to thank my bff Sarah and her father, my gal pal Jackie, and my first ever friend Simrin and her family for reading. Last but not least, I’d also like to thank Ilana for her enthusiasm and encouragement. She encouraged me to post my work on facebook because she liked it. Thank you!
I’d also like to thank members of the Haldane faculty. The teachers? The teachers? Yes! They have been wonderful! And no, I’m not trying to suck up to them.
Mr. Cairl! He was proud when he found out about my blog. He told me to feel free to send him any of my work. Mr Cairl, thanks for your support!
Mr. Ogden, the teacher I said looks like Brian Bruney in the post before this, deserves a thank you. He overheard a friend talking about my blog, and told her to tell me to see him. Right away, he wanted the link to my blog. Bruney - I mean – Mr. Ogden, thank you! I miss having you!
Mr. Sayers, my current history teacher…He really deserves a huge thank you. First of all, he likes the blog. Thanks for reading! Mr. Sayers, thank you for not giving homework for the majority of the postseason. Because of you, I was able to watch every game AND the pregames because I had less work, and then was able to blog. He said he didn’t give homework because I “sit within arms reach of him” during class. Haha. Thanks for everything!
Other faculty members who have supported me: Mr. & Mrs. Sniffen, Mr. Virgadamo, Mrs. Robb, Mrs. Kane, Mr. Miller, I thank you all!
I’d like to thank MLB.com for featuring my blog 3 times on the homepage.
I’d like to thank my family. Mommy, Daddy, Bobby, Tommy, Aunt Barbara, and Uncle Stu, I love you! Wait….Bobby and Tommy? My brothers? Why am I thanking them? All they did was tell me to get off the computer. They never even read my blog. But they have helped me. They have suggested lookalikes for me to do, and Bobby has been a blessing with computer help. And they have been very patient. We have 1 computer, and there are 3 teenagers in the house. So guys, if you ever read this, you will see that I thanked you. Thanks!
I guess my last thank you is the most important. THANK YOU NEW YORK YANKEES!!! Without you, this wouldn’t exist! God, I can’t imagine what I would do without you. I might actually be normal! But that’s okay. I don’t mind being….odd. I LOVE YOU GUYS THAT MUCH!!!!
